Rome. Leila's birthday present this year was a long weekend in the Eternal City. We stayed in a nice hotel right in the middle of the old city, visited the tourist hot spots, shopped, and walked and walked and walked. We even got to see the pope! Rome was relatively clean, the public transport was pretty good, the people were friendly and the food was great! It was an excellent weekend.
